David F. Shutler, CEO and President of Utility Systems Solutions, Inc., brings three decades of experience to his position at US2.  Shutler previously worked as Director of Government Sales for Armstrong International, Inc. and, while on active duty in the Air Force, served as General Counsel for the Army and Air Force Exchange Service in Dallas, Texas.  Shutler’s expertise in business, law and federal contracts comes from his military and educational background, having received his Juris Doctorate from Pennsylvania State University’s Dickinson School of Law in 1981 and his Masters in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska in 1991.  He retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Colonel in January of 2000.  Mr. Shutler enjoys associations with The National Veteran-Owned Business Association (NaVOBA), The Texas Bar Association, The Pennsylvania Bar Association, The Air Force Association, and The Eagle Scout Association.

Jim served 10 years in the Air Force as an active duty rescue and special operations helicopter pilot.     His professional experiences are diverse as planning and executing multinational air operations, logistics deployments, database and data warehouse design, and management consulting in a $1B public sector organization. He has presented nationally on technology projects and school safety.  While on loan to Los Alamos National Laboratory, he worked on controls for SALT II nuclear weapon treaty verification.

Jim holds an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the USAF Academy, and a MS in Management and is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP).  Jim enjoys long distance running, cycling and swimming.  He serves as a Risk Management instructor for the Dallas chapter of the Project Management Institute and is an active advisor to local schools and arts programs.  He has lived or worked in 7 countries.

Matt Blaisdell, HR/IT Manager, brings over a dozen years of experience managing both Information Technology and Human Resources functions, in profit and non-profit organizations, and in small start-ups as well as large, international corporations. During his twenty years in the I.T. field he earned technical certifications including MCDBA, MCSD, MCSE, A+, Server+ and Security+, before his growing interest and experience with supporting others in their careers led him to cross over to the HR field.
