US2 recently completed a comprehensive retrofit installation of a "smart" steam trap monitor system at Joint Base Lewis McChord, Tacoma, WA. The project included a steam trap audit, system design, retrofit installation, and training. The installed "smart" system includes SteamEye® acoustic trap transmitters, steam traps and real-time, web-enabled monitoring. The JBLM system is being maintained post-installation under a multi-year service contract with US2 that ensures anticipated energy saving metrics are realized and tracked.
